What's happening
Where to begin? I am getting ready to publish my first book, Demon's Bane. It's the first book in my fantasy series, The Half-blood Chronicles. Right now I've been working on creating this website and spending time on social media getting to know fans of fantasy books. It's great reading about what people are interested in and letting them get to know me.
I have a few series bouncing around in my head and I'm looking forward to getting them all written and published. My goal is to take my readers on an adventure and through a roller coaster of emotions. I hope you will enjoy the journey as much as I do.

The paperback is now available for purchase through Amazon. I'm also working on book two in the series and preparing the first book in a second series for publication. I will let everyone know more as things progress. It's been a rainy day here, and it makes me wonder what would my heroes do if they were caught in a torrential downpour in the middle of nowhere. How would they handle it? How well would they cope with being soaking wet, shivering cold, and longing for the comforts of home? Just thoughts I'm currently having. Enjoy the adventure, my friends.

Wrote a short story to send to my subscribers. It's is a short prequel to my book, Demon's Bane. It deals with one of my main characters, Laurel, and her first time returning to her home village that was destroyed. I've been doing a ton of thinking lately about the release of my first book. It is a bit nerve wrecking. In my opinion writing the book was much easier than actually publishing it.
On another note, today is a beautiful, sunny day. The heat is extreme, so I have need to stay in the air conditioning. I've been spending some time looking out at the forest behind my house. The way the light filters through the trees and speckles the ground has my mind wondering to thoughts of fairies and gnomes. I can't help but look at the beauty of nature and think of the how magical it all seems.
Thought for the day: Sometimes a person needs to put down the electronics, take some time to ground themselves in a wooded area and enjoy the sounds of nature. Try to find some time to breath and soak in some nature.
